World Reflexology Week is the time when reflexologists get together to promote a greater public awareness of reflexology and its benefits around the globe.  It is our chance to generate more health conscious minds, a greater understanding for holistic and complementary health care and client awareness of our businesses.

Visit the Herbal Clinic & Dispensary for Reflexology Day.  Receive reflexology mini-treatments from our experienced reflexologists, Joan Knight and Louise St.Cyr.  To be held in conjunction with the Roncesvalles Spring Sidewalk Event, a street wide celebration of Roncesvalles businesses and the Roncesvalles community.  Lots of fun for everyone!

The reflexology services of Heart & Sole Reflexology Day Spa can now be found at the Herbal Clinic Dispensary.  Every Monday starting May 3rd. from 11am-4pm and every other Saturday starting May 8th from 11am-2pm.  You can call or e-mail me as per usual and we can book times from there.  Times are flexible and walk-ins are accepted if I am available.  You can find the Dispensary at 409 Roncesvalles Avenue in Toronto M6R 2N1.  They are located opposite the Revue Cinema at Howard Park & Roncesvalles (416) 537-5303 and their web site is www.theherbalclinicanddispensary.com   See you there!

It's APRIL and Spring is in the air.  April also marks a number of important events: It's Cancer Awareness Month, Oral Health Month, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Awareness Month and Parkinson Awareness Month.

We're launching a new website as of March 1st 2010, ( just give us about a week to get some of the kinks out and all our pics posted ;-)  Our new web address is now www.reflexologydayspa.com but for a short while you will still be able to access this site via girlieboutique.com and louisestcyr.com.

Everything is not fully up yet as I am still learning how to use this new software and our e-shop will also be coming soon, so bookmark our new site now and keep checking in with us!

Every year RAC and it's local reflexologists take part in the Whole Life Expo at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.  I took part last year and look forward to volunteering again this year.  The public really gets a chance to see what reflexology ( and many other modalities ) is all about through written handouts, public speakers and 15 and 20min. demos.

The last week of September 2009 marked World Reflexology Week.  A week when reflexologists world wide come together to educate the public about the benefits of reflexology through seminars, public events, demos and trade shows to name a few.  This year RAC had us volunteering at 55 John St. ( The CBC building) doing 15min foot and hand demo treatments for the public and the event went great.

Because I am such a fanatic about toiletries and cosmetics I just had to include some in my Girlie Boutique.  I use a wonderful line of heathly, safe and botanical products in my day spa from BeautiControl.  If you check out my web page at http://www.beautipage.ca/louise you will find a lot of information about the products and the brand.  The best part is that I am able to bring these products directly to you via the home spa party and we have a lot of fun while doing it.  Just gather some of your friends in 1 location and I will bring the rest to you.  Your friends will love you for it and you can earn free products for acting as hostess for 2 hours.

This past Monday I had a great session shoot at Imagine Sound Studios for Blair Irwin's new and upcoming album.  I am so looking forward to this album not only because she sounds wonderful but I can't wait to see what photos she picks for the insert.

On Saturday December 5th I did a wonderful photoshoot for Kathy Imre.  It was quite cold outside but Kathy way a trooper and we got some fantastic head shots for her.  Check out our image gallery to see some samples of her shoot.
